Answer to the mystery photo...

After a year or so embedded in the topic of food, and a month or so with bees on my mind, I have just finished a writing project on migration and tourism and a writing project on the frozen Arctic.
Or should that be thawing Arctic. An article in the 'i' newspaper today talked about a report on the Cryosphere (the area characterised by frozen water - whether on the land or sea) and whether we are heading for an (un)Frozen Planet.

Finally for this post, the answer to a mystery which I posed a few days ago, with a photo of a coastal settlement, surrounded by low hills scraped bare of soil or vegetation.
Here's the flag of the territory where the picture was taken.

If you read the comments on the original post you'll see that most people got the correct answer, or somewhere very close, and there was some impressive image analysis...

The images was of a town called Qaqortoq on the southern coast of Greenland with a population of just over 3000 people.
Thanks for the interest and the comments...

And don't forget to tune into BBC1 at 9pm tonight..
