Changes to the GA website

Over the last few weeks a few big changes have been made to the GA website...

The first is a major refresh of the GA Shop.
As we move into a new year, perhaps it's time to replenish your stock of GA resources or badges, or perhaps your Barnaby Bear is getting a little threadbare....

The GA Shop now offers free postage and packing on UK deliveries... Members get discounts too...
New 2012 Primary and Secondary Catalogues will be with members shortly...
You can also use PayPal to pay...

The second, and perhaps more significant change is the launch of the new JSTOR archive service for subscribers to the GA's journal 'GEOGRAPHY'.
Some months ago, large boxes of back issues of the journal going back to 1901 were sent off to be scanned and are now up online for subscribers to have access to.

You can now see articles from the Geographical Teacher between 1901 and 1926, followed by an archive of Geography from 1927 to the present day.
This is a substantial additional bonus for those members who subscribe to 'Geography'.

If you do not already subscribe to Geography, you can add it to an existing GA membership or JOIN THE GA and opt for a Geography subscription.

Remember that if you are intending to attend the GA Conference, or one of several GA courses, your membership fees will be more than reimbursed by the savings that you will make on delegate fees.
